C OVID-19 pandemic and lockdown from 23rd March, 2020 has disrupted some activities in agriculture and supply chains. Preliminary reports show that the farmers cannot sale the vegetables and other agricultural produce like mustard, pulses, paddy, maize etc during these lockdown period. Most of the vegetables are damaged at their field. On the other hand, the farmers cannot go for next season cultivation due to lack of seeds and other agricultural inputs like fertilizers, pesticides etc. The harvesting of Summer Paddy/ Autumn Paddy is also hampered due to this pandemic.
